Our ukulele course will teach students the basic playing techniques of the ukuleleThe course will mainly focus on song performance and the ukulele's distinctive playing techniques,using the styles the student prefers or pop songs from different regions as learning examples,We hope to train students to apply the techniques after the course to singing while playing, accompaniment or music creation.

Taught personally by independent musician Will Chan from our Studio, so you can grasp the knowledge and techniques faster and more efficiently.Course content can be designed around the music genres you like.Our ukulele course aims to deliver fast and clear learning results,Whether you want to learn to play simple songs,or to delve into the ukulele's playing techniques,we want to use the most effective teaching approach to spare you confusion in your learning.
We hold small gatherings and performances regularly, and also run an online discussion page,encouraging students and different music creators to discuss or collaborate.

Lesson format

One-to-one, self-formed groups of two to three, home tuition, outreach courses for organisations

Lesson Times

Monday to Sunday, morning to evening; places with the tutor are limited, please call to enquire about times
One-to-one individual guitar lessons are 20, 40 or 60 minutes per lesson.
Self-formed groups of two to three students may choose 40 minutes or 60 minutes per lesson,with a maximum of three students per class.

Institutional partnerships

According to the needs of the host organisation, we can provide beginner introductory courses or workshops,with a recommended class size of no more than 8 people.
If needed, we can assist with instrument rental or ordering.

Course Content

  • Standard ukulele holding posture and fingering, pick and fingerpicking techniques, etc.
  • Scales in various keys, chords, harmony training
  • Strumming and rhythm training; score reading, listening and improvisation training
  • Solo pieces, concertos, pop song performance
  • Musical styles and structural features as played on the ukulele
  • Various guitar techniques such as hammer-ons, slides, harmonics, etc.
